Athens, the capital of Greece is undoubtedly one of the world's most beautiful and interesting cities. Location of recommended hotels

There is a choice of 3 - 5 star hotels that we highly recommend on the basis of proximity to the city centre, price and good service. All four hotels are accessible from the Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos", by taxi, bus, and metro.

Access to the hotels from the airport

The Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" is located 35 kms from the centre of Athens and the Divani Acropolis Palace.

Taxis can be easily found at the stations outside the airport. The taxi queue is next to Exit 3 of the Arrivals Level. An average journey by taxi to the conference venue should take approximately 40/50 minutes, depending on the traffic and its cost should be around 30 - 35 Euros per way.
Shuttle Bus is leaving from the Airport to Syntagma Square every 25 minutes (Express line E95). The bus queue is next to Exit 5 of the Arrivals Level. Current ticket price is 3 Euros. It allows for unlimited travel by all transport modes (bus, trolley, tram, and metro) for 24 hours from the time of its validation during first trip (validates only once). From Syntagma Square you can reach your hotel by taxi in 5 minutes.
Metro (Subway system). The Metro runs every 10 minutes. You can take the Metro, number 3 line (blue) from the airport and reach your hotel in 35 minutes. Current ticket price is 8 Euros. Note: When you arrive at the airport, you should exit main terminal building, cross the road, take the elevator to the upper level, cross a long corridor, and you will arrive at the metro station. Take the Metro, number 3 line towards "Monastiraki". Using the same ticket and without leaving the station, you can switch at Syntagma station from the blue to the red line, direction "Ag.Dimitrios", which will take you to the "Acropoli" or "Sygrou - Fix" stations, both located within 5-minute walking distance from the recommended hotels.
