3D Video Services

collocated with MOBIMEDIA - 6th International Mobile Multimedia Communications Conference

The goal of this special session is to bring together researchers from academia, R&D Labs and industry to present and discuss novel R&D results in the field of 3D Video Services, with particular emphasis on wireless delivery. Since delivery of 3D video services over wireless channels poses a number of additional challenges compared with traditional 2D video, the scope of this session ranges over topics such as robust 3D video coding, impact of transmission errors in depth perception, system performance metrics for 3D video delivery services, error concealment, decoding complexity issues in mobile terminals, etc.
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit original papers on the above mentioned topics or other related fields.
